Long serving PHC staff recognised

More than 150 staff at Peel Health Campus (PHC) have reached 10 or 15 year of service this year.
PHC Chief Executive Officer, Dr Margaret Sturdy, said it was impressive that one third of the workforce had been at the hospital for more than 10 years.
“That is an outstanding effort and I thank all award recipients for their hard work and dedication,” Margaret said.
“Most of our staff are members of our community and they take great pride in what they do.
“We have a broad range of staff in our hospital and they all have very important roles.
“All staff make an invaluable contribution and they are extremely passionate about their jobs.”
Margaret said PHC, which is operated by Ramsay Health Care, had a strong work culture that was underpinned by what was known as the “The Ramsay Way”.
“The Ramsay Way” culture recognises that people – staff and doctors – are Ramsay Health Care’s most important asset and this has been key to the organisation’s ongoing success.
