Peel Health Campus proudly supports the following community events:
As the largest healthcare facility in the Peel region and a significant employer of its residents, Peel Health Campus is an integral part of the local community. Peel Health Campus actively supports a number of health and community events each year.
Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre was officially opened in June 1997 funded by the WA State Government and the City of Mandurah. Comprising the Boardwalk Theatre, the Fishtrap Theatre and the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery, the Centre is an icon for the performing and visual arts in the Peel Region.
Peel Health Campus is proud to support and partner with this local performing arts centre. The alignment of services helps to bring both social benefits and enhances sustainability and liveability of the Peel area.
HBF Run for a Reason
As one of the five Ramsay Health Care hospitals in WA represented each year at the HBF Run for a Reason, Peel Health Campus is happy to support this huge community event, which keeps getting bigger every year.
In May each year, scores of Ramsay employees embrace the opportunity to participate in the event, running or walking as part of “5 Hospitals, 1 Team”. As testament to the enthusiasm of its staff in supporting the event, Ramsay Health Care has taken out the award for the Largest Corporate Team in both 2014 and 2015.
Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House Perth provides a safe and comfortable environment for families of seriously ill children. These families are undergoing extreme emotional distress and the Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation and support for these families. Peel Health Campus proudly supports the house through their ‘Adopt a room' program.
Quiet Lions Tour
Peel Health Campus’ continuing sponsorship of the Burma Thailand Railway Memorial Association (BTRMA) has had a big impact on the lives of some local cadets. The annual funding covers the costs of a local cadet and carer to take part in the Quiet Lions Tour –a ten day tour across Thailand. The tour aims to perpetuate the memory of the privations and sacrifices of Australian and Allied prisoners of war and the selfless dedication of the medical personnel during the construction of the Burma Thailand Railway.
