The department is staffed by an experienced and caring multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the hospital's patients.

The emergency department currently includes 23 treatment bays with state-of-the-art equipment and medical imaging services.

Rehabilitation

Peel Health Campus offers both private and public rehabilitation and acute medical aged care beds on the Campus. The service includes a multidisciplinary team-based approach, including specialist medical, nursing and allied health professionals.

The physiotherapy department provides individually tailored, patient-centred strength, balance and general fitness programs to promote independence, endurance, and well-being in the older population.

In conjunction with the consultant geriatrician, a memory clinic has been established. Volunteers

The Friends of Peel Health Campus make a major difference to the patients and staff at the Campus. Their contribution adds considerable value to the services we are able to offer to the community.

Volunteers help with simple non-medical tasks, and they may also spend time in companionship with patients.

Our volunteer program is approved and registered as a non-profit organisation by the Department of Fair Trading. All volunteers are required to have a police clearance and sign a declaration of confidentiality and conflict of interest document.

Pastoral care

Pastoral care staff and volunteers are dedicated to their task for those in need. Their task is to actively listen, support and accompany patients, family members, visitors and staff on their journey towards healing. They attempt to be present, respectful and compassionate. Team members offer an attitude of non-judgement and gentle guidance through appraisal of wellbeing, personal rapport, spiritual counsel, public prayer and bedside ritual.
