About Peel Health Campus

PHC is located 50 minutes south of the Perth CBD. The campus is a 206-bed facility and includes private and public inpatient services. The hospital is equipped with inpatient services such as general surgery, general medicine, paediatrics and O&G. The Emergency Department treats a variety of patient presentations ranging from minor acute pathologies to major resuscitations of all age groups. The Emergency Department is run by a friendly, dynamic and hands-on group of FACEMs who between them have a broad spectrum of interests in Emergency Medicine including toxicology, ultrasound, simulation, advanced airway management and education. Many of the ED consultant instruct on courses including, ALS, EMST, ETM, APLS and Neonatal resuscitation.  For practitioners not formally training in Emergency Medicine, who are wanting to upskill and gain formal credentialing in Emergency Medicine, we offer supervision & support in completion of the ACEM Emergency Medicine Certificate and Diploma (EMCD) and we are fully accredited with ACRRM to provide advanced specialist training.

The clinical work here is varied, challenging and rewarding. There is extensive opportunity to be involved in critical care cases, inter-hospital transfers of critically unwell patients, toxicology cases, procedural sedation and airway management. PHC has established an excellent reputation in the community for its high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement.
